I would like to start my own private equity firm but I want to learn more about it. I have been doing a lot of research but still have trouble finding certain information. For example where to.find companies that you can offer LBO? Why do firms want to offer LBO? What happens once you acquire a company? Amongst other questions I want to know as much as possible about private equity. No I dont have capital or mentors but I want to get as much info before thinking too far ahead. I believe once I know enough about the business, I can focus on getting capital and building a business plan. If there is anyone out there that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Ondric D.
